Aero Kraft North is a locally based manufacturing facility. We are currently hiring a full-time, permanent Maintenance Technician to work in our Facilities Department . The Maintenance Technician performs routine maintenance on buildings owned and operated by Aero Kraft North under the direction of the Facilities Engineer.

Duties:ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES other duties as assigned…

1.Cleans and performs routine maintenance of facilities floors and common areas by removing wax and debris using appropriate tools and machinery.

2.Performs routine seasonal landscaping maintenance; ensures timely debris removal, and recommends repairs.

3.Performs routine maintenance of facility parking lots including resurfacing, striping, etc.

GENERAL JOB DUTIES

•Cleans and replaces according to maintenance schedule building intake filters.

•Cleans and performs minor repairs of gutters, drains and scuppers for the purpose of ensuring proper operation and adequate drainage.

•Performs minor maintenance checks such as temperature, chemical levels and recording them, building inspections, etc. as assigned.

•Logs maintenance records on assignment.

•Maintains a clean and safe work environment.

•Maintains punctual, regular and predictable attendance.

•Works collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation.

•Displays excellent communication skills including presentation, persuasion, and negotiation skills required in working with coworkers and including the ability to communicate effectively and remain calm and courteous under pressure.

•Respectfully takes direction from Manager.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications:EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one year handyman or laborer experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees of organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

COMPUTER SKILLS
Has basic computer job skills including logging on to systems, ability to compose documents, enter database information, and download forms.

REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must be able to pass AKN Forklift Driver Certification test and achieve certification.
